Adsense report doesn't line up
When I check the data for last month with "aggregate data" I get value "A"
As far as I know, I only have two channels "B" and "C". However adding the amounts of B + C doesn't give me A but a few bucks less than that. What gives?
Could I be getting clicks from somewhere else somehow? How can I find out?

Maybe you inserted code somewhere without specifying the channel?

I've seen my code on other sites of which I don't own. Unfortunately one site in question was a porn site and lost my adsense account (plus the thousands they owed me). Turned out I had a site made for me a long time ago, the coder re-sold it several times without taking out the adcode, one guy converted the "game" site to a "porn" site.
The point to this long winded post ?
Find out where those clicks are coming from and do it quick, if it's a competing website owner placing your adcode on an illegal site you wont be given much opportunity to recover your good name. Adsense doesnt need any one publisher enough to jeaporadize their livelyhood.
Good Luck Lewis.
Just noticed your in Gatineau, I'm in Barhaven. *waves*

I just began to explore tracking my sites (where people are going to be specific) But I believe only adsense itself can know any tracking through your adcode. I doubt they would give up any good info, they have legal right to take your earnings on a whim it appears. with the easy opportunity to simply place anyones adcode on any porn site or sites against Terms and Policies It really isnt a safe or dependable venture using them for your publishing revenue. recently I've read so much from people who lost their accounts, and there are so many. Each one loses their revenue earned, no explanation either.
Excuse the long winded reply. I obviously haven't gotten over this yet. There's nothing like being robbed by the Giant.

I believe there is a way to track traffic going out (ad clicks specifically). I was just looking into this and at the same time lost my account, so now I've put that on the backburner. I would suggest you ask adsense, but when discussing your account with them it's as risky as a discussion with the cra in the effect you may encourage or begin an audit. It's so easy to break the terms and policies that you may not want to begin a discussion with them. If you do be sure everything is running perfect. Even having a page without content is against tos, and it happens to the best of us. I would think that clicks being identified would not be good for google, people will know more and have more control. Google doesnt do this well by educating it's publishers. When they disable your account they state they are claiming all money owed to you, and being refunded to the advertisers (I personally don't believe they return the funds, but do believe the have good record of clicks)
Another thing, I would assume tracking such clicks are possibly against the rules as well. Tough Call Louis.

Even if all of your pages are tracked using channels, your aggregate reports may show more clicks and impressions than your channel reports for a variety of reasons. The most common reason is that your pages have been shown in a frame. Occasionally, traffic programs or sites like Google Image Search use frames to display pages. When clicks occur on a framed page, they won't appear in your channel reports.
Please be assured that while some statistics may not appear in your channels, all clicks and impressions are being recorded correctly in your aggregate reports.
