Google has disabled my Adsense account!!!

Google have gone and disabled my adsense account completely out of the blue

I have in no way clicked on my own ads or encouraged others to do so. I have appealed but I doubt they will see my point of view. Has anybody successfully appealed against this and if so how?

I have sent the form for appealing the decision and am waiting for a response. Where else at Google could I send an e-mail or is it best to wait their response from this?

There is no other way to contact them out of their email sent to you. No phone, nothing. It's hard to get it back as you might figure out through some light research. YPN is a nice alternative. Might take a little time to get used to all over again but they pay sweet for some niches. There's alot of hate at adsense lately, they ban people often while keeping the money owed. Keeping your source of revenue with them is only asking for trouble. Too easy to get banned. Anyone can easily go to their competition and click on their ads regularily, going back daily with the same IP or through proxy. adsense will catch that action and ban you. No questions asked.

Good luck.

If you included AdSense under the "Our Sponsors" banner, or included their ads in any block other than one that ONLY said "Ads by Gooooogle", you violated their ToS. Your inquiry will result in first a bot checking your site and possibly a human following up on that check. In either case, you've got to modify your pages to exclude AdSense from the offending blocks before you'll get anything other than a ToS violation response.

Yes I did have it under the heading 'Our Sponsors' in my directory which was a silly thing to do really. I had originally got rid of the 'Our Sponsors' thing but whenever I change any of the code on my directory it stops working so I had to put it back.

From the message Google sent me I was given the impression that invalid clicks were to blame and surely if the 'Our Sponsors' thing was the issue then they should have warned me before booting me out. I have been receiving more hits each month (mainly from Google) which would account for increased clicks but that would be quite a gradual thing.

I agree that Google should be vigilant of invalid use of its program for the sake of Adwords users but I think they go too far and the overall program is managed very poorly.

My appeal was rejected by Google so there is very little hope now but I will try and find another way to contest it

I had same problem couple of months back. They cancelled my account, I appealed two times. Those were also rejected so once they reject your account, it is more likely that they will not accept you again. Unless you apply with someone else's name and with a different website.
Good luck.

Send a message via Yahoo to Blazed
Do whatever google is asking you to do it and ask for the apology.
That's the only way you can still save your account.

I have just recieved the dreaded email from google dumping my account.
It happened exactly 24 hrs after I added adsense to my chillfire.blogspot.com blog.

I had just moved over to the beta blog system as well about 5 mins before adding adsense!!!!!!!

I know there is no chance of getting back in, but if anyone else has been kicked as well might be a google gafu?

cheers

oh boy they were quick to respond

google ad sense team have got back to me.... very quick reply but not too helpfu. (full email posted on chillfire.blogspot.com ).

Basically they wont reinstate me, wont tell me why I got kicked other than my account (its only a week or so old) has been linked to bad click activity.
I had at last check made $5.24!!

(NOTE: When adsense first started (ages ago) I had an account for sh*ts and giggles, but never used it and it stopped working after about 6 months, I made no money and had very few clicks as it was only live on one page of my site purely as a test to see if it made a difference on my PR )

If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful, there are posts around about people harassing google to get back in the good team?

Has anyone from the UK used the yahoo publisher network ?

cheers

Sorry about the ban.....because you had the our sponsors label..it probably caused people to click on your ads and that's why you got banned.

I'm glad you were honest for saying you had the our sponsors under the ads because most people keep saying they are banned for no reason.

You can try YPN but i'm telling you now...none of the other programs can compare to adsese. I'm currently testing clicksor and bidvertiser and they are horrible.

I have just started using bidvertiser and although the ads look fine and the system seems good I have yet to make a single cent

I think the main reason for this is that the ads don't seem to relate to my website so nobody is likely to bother clicking on them because they are not interested!!!

Are any alternatives to google as good or even better?

Yeah Yahoo does look like the most suitable alternative but I don't think its available for people in the UK like myself at the moment. No wonder they are so far behind google

Thats not true, many people make more with affiliates, cookies, pop ups or other content ads. Some suck and some are good, you gotta read the reviews.

Heres something to get started
