Is Adsense a dying trade
I am thinking of placing adense on my site, have heard that adsense is drying up is this true

I have adsense and it does fine. Its really all about traffic and placement. If you have a crappy site with little traffic then you aren't likely to make much.

It is real shame it is not support on mobile devices that are gaining popularity. Even Google's own mobile WAP search strips out AdSense http://www.google.co.uk/xhtml

I wouldn't add advertising to a site that is selling or renting things...

It just gives the impression that you aren't even making enough to pay for site costs.

In general, the rule of thumb seems to be. If you are selling own products, do not use adsense. You can infact very easily risk showing ads from your competitors!
