Yep, big news and odd that Google is being so straightforward about such a thing. Seems odd to me, but I'm sure certain advertisers probably spoke up and demanded they do something, or they would go to YPN.

that's good actually... just imagine how you would feel if you are an adwords user and people click on your link because the webmaster put a pic of britney spears beside your ads?

That makes sense. I don't really understand why people were making the ads look "pretty" anyway. It was really confusing for me. Sometimes, when in a hurry, I couldn't make the difference between the site's content and the ads. Good that they take them out!
