What's the attraction with Adsense?

Just a question.

I don't have anything against Google Adsense or anyone who makes money through Adsense.

But, you know you could be making so much more with Affiliate programs or products of your own. I just can't understand why so many people rely so much on Adsense?

I guess part of the problem is, I don't do a lot of Adsense myself, just can't think of settling for pennies. Perhaps the most I have ever made with adsense is around $75/mo.

Is it that Google is too good at marketing it's product?

Any thoughts?

- Ana

There's your answer. When you make over $9000 a month with adsense, you'll see the attraction.

Are different things.

I am working with Adsense and I am very happy with my earnings each month but by other way I am running affiliate programs.

I use it because its easy to place on my pages, the ads are mostly relevant and plus the money generated is very good.

I don't have that lucky with affiliate programs...but I can enumerate some advantages of adsense:

1. Contextual, if you have a good content website, the ads that show can be very targeted, doing a good job to improve the site contents.

2. Lots of advertisers. Even for publishers outside the US.

3. Lots of features to configure on the ads, but could have more...like changing the font.

4. good revenue
