Does your adsense revenue goes up or down this month?
Hi all,
this month I noticed that there are more clicks on the googleads but less revenue coming out of it, do you notice the same thing ?
greetings,
Bart

I'm in the same boat. Just as many clicks but less return. Maybe Google is taking more of a percentage of each click.

Its quite possible advertisers are realizing they are getting less return on the targeted ads and thus are not willing to pay as much. I dont know how long of a term google has on their ads and how long they require a company to comit at a specific ppc level.

I had one client who was using it, and I had him stop. I just don't see a high conversion ratio. And I think that they let too many incentivized clicks go though.

MONEY.....
How much would you say you get on average each month from adsense?
.......And how many hits do you get a day.

Adsense does have a bit of a "too good to be true" feel about it. I used to make reasonable pocket money from banners back when advertisers were paying stupid amounts of money. I had assumed that the lesson had been learnt and this time round advertisers were more realistic. However the average amount I'm getting per Adsense click does seem to be like the good old days, and more than what the advertisers could reasonably hope to make out of it.
I hope I'm wrong because I could do okay out of Adsense. Frankly I could base a business on it (if I was dumb enough to put all my eggs in one fragile basket), whereas the returns on my other affiliate programmes are unlikely to be more than side earners.

Good point. Im going to make a few sites, and cut out all affliates and banners and earn only from adsense.

I wouldn't cut out the other affiliates, keep the ones that are converting into money.

It really doesn't work like that
I know I keep saying it but PATIENCE
I mean listen please
Adsense definitely isn't the only way (I am sure JohnScott would be too happy to agree with me)
You just won't make money with your current affiliate things
The products they are offering are so poor it just isn't worth it

had a very weird day few days ago, hope goog wont ban me for that. my usual CTR is 2-3%, then one day (number of impressions was usual) CTR jumped up like three times to almost 8%.
did it happen with you one day or another? really hope it was *not* one of the competitors since i heard google could just ban for "fraudulent clicks".

My revenue and click through ratio has consistently risen month to month... Usually about 25% higher than the previous month. I'm sure at some point it will stabilize, as it cannot sustain that growth. But I'm happy... it's not going DOWN.

I really dont think it matters if you tell people how much you make per click, its not like they are going to know who you are or anything...and um just for the record, my average is like $1.00/click my highest pay for one click is $5.xx and lowest is $0.05. and yea, but i havent notice my payout going down at all, been around $1 since ive started paypal.

Still not a good idea to disclose though... Someone could report you if they didn't like you can get you banned from AdSense.
Curious how you know your per click payout for each specific click?

If i happen to catch it when there was only 1 click so far. so normally if i check it early in the morning. And just by comparing to other days i can pretty much tell that was the highest per click, not 100% effective, but jus gives me an idea.
