Adsense - how does this happen?
On another forum, someone posted a link to their page showing the Adsense ads running on his site. The problem is, one of the ads was for the same site the Adsense ads were running on:

http://www.share-house.com.au/ramblings/google-wtf.html

How does this happen?

Oh, that might be some bug in Google AdWords system. But, as you know Google isn't going to admit it's a bug; it's a "feature".

Normal. Happens too many times on MFA sites.... People just don't understand filtering, or they're too lazy to do so.

Don't call me lazy!

It was Google who were too lazy to compare the target URL of an ad to the URL of the current site. That's just sloppy coding.

I contacted Google and they have assured me it was a bug, are forwarding it to their developers and it will never happen again.

Don't blame me when Google fuctup!

BTW: Share-House is not an MFA site. If there were other alternatives, I would look at them. AdSense was just the best option at the time.

I agree with alfiejohn. Why should people have to go out of their way to filter their own sites for AdSense?
