The most profitable way to earn from contextual ads is not to cheat their system and then you will not get banned. lol.

Na, if you want to earn from contextual ads then go with the most reputable and highest payers like YPN and Adsense.

Aside from content and smart ad placement, there really isn't anything else to it. Trial and error is the name of the game, see what works best for you and drop what doesn't. There's no need to turn a simple concept into something complicated.

Though bringing traffic to one's site has been discussed in detail, not all webmasters are successful in achieving this feat. One has to be a little bit lucky apart from all the hard work. Am I correct?
Once you have the required traffic, then all good things will follow suit
