Adsense and serps

The ads for adsense that you get depends on your SERP position,PR and traffic of the site.A site that is situated in top 5 for a keyword get better adsense ads then one is not in top 5?

Well it's not entirely impossible lower ranking pages content could be less relevant to that keyword the users would have entered with.

According to the Adsense description they pull the highest bid keyword for placement in your site for the keywords crawled. I don't think it has anything to do with SERPs. Smart priced, possibly, random SERP algo, doubtful.

I don't think the serps has anything to do with Adsense. Both the serps and adsense use different robots and they are not related to each other in anyway.

It is absolutely different thing. Search engine doesn't care if you have Google adds or not.

I disagree.

SERPs position depends on keyword. One site may be ranking #1 for some keyword and may be #10 for other. Then how adsense should be paying in that site according to original thread opener?

Adsense pay high / low for content it have. If site have content relevant to high competitive keyword then it will pay high otherwise not.

I think adsense depends not only on the relevant content but also on how much traffic you can drive, or how can you explain that the site with higher traffic gets better adsense as compared to the sites having lower traffic.

It would make sense though wouldn't it? If I was advertising, why would I want my ad on a very low ranking site?
