I am paying for Adwords and I can tell that is not working. Anyone has a better experience with Adwords?

Then you must be doing soemthing wrong. Better hire a professional company to manage your campaigns for 2-3 months, learn from their strategy and then you can do it yourself.

Adwords will work, in terms of bringing in traffic, if you use good Ad writing techniques. However, conversion lies solely on YOU, to create good landing pages, quality products, etc. You can't expect Google to do everything for you...geesh.

AdWords is just advertising so saying "AdWords doesn't work" is like saying like advertising doesn't work.

I think it's about picking your keywords. If you're swimming with the big fish and you're bidding minimal, there's no doubt that you're getting destroyed.

Did you check their PR? The only advantage is your link popularity.

You need to know the basics and pattern of how the Adwords campaign works. Once you get the grip of it then you will be optimizing quite well for your sites.

Adwords rocks.... It is expensive, but if used right you can make a lot of money.
Some advice I have would be to figure out what hours are the best for you to advertise or have your ads online.
Set caps on spending for sure.
Check and see what words your competitors are advertising.
And like CLDNAILS says " your landing pages " need to be idiot proof and user friendly or your flushing $$$ down the drain.

Adwords works for me. I did buy Perry Marshall's guide though to learn how to split test ads and make it work the best for me.

I ran a campaign one month for my BANS store (<url removed>) and it has since been the best converting traffic I've had. On the negative side though, it was the most expensive traffic that I've had. So I guess the lesson learned is you get what you pay for.

Best thing you can do is to optimize that BANS store so that you lower the price of your clicks. With a little tweaking you can get the cost of your clicks down to less than .05 on the content network.

Usually the only way adwords will work is if you are selling a product...if you simply have adsense ads on your site it will typically not be a successful adwords campaign

In what way is it not working? You are not getting clicks or the traffic is not converting? My biggest problem is getting people to click my ads no matter how many different ones I test.
