Clever Adsense fraud
This is weird!!! I've found one page on my site where the google adsense code on my pages is not mine at all.
It might just be typos. Or it might be something more sinister (has someone put their ads up on my pages?!?).
If so, it's a clever fraud by some web designer or hacker. Maybe I've had one too many people working on Time4Learning.com.
Except that while subtle, it's trackable since there is a check or bank payment at the end....
Does anyone have any experience working with google on such things?

Yes,
Try sending them an email! They know who's account its going to, so there won't be any trouble in nabbing em. They'll probably get banned.

Ok. If you could just provide me your bank details, I'll wire over the money.
Also, I could provide it to my new efriend mbolo smith, son of the late oil minister. He seems to need an honorable person like you with a bank account to send a few hundred million to. He seems to have inherited his nation's oil revenue and needs help getting it to the US. Your account details could be just the thing.....
(This is not an offer, this is a joke.)

Someone on DP had released a site that at a glance of your site will verify if the adsense code it yours or not. Didnt see this as a legit thing so I didnt ever bookmark it. What it did was give a green gif for ok and a red gif for not ok. Image was similiar to the valid css and xhtml ones.
Guessing now I should have saved it.

You know what would be really useful?
A tool that could review all my sites and tell me which channels of my adsense are on which pages. Since we tend to use a mix of templates, server side includes, and just copy/paste for creating pages, our tracking gets all messed up.
It would be useful to have a "demangler" to tell me which channels have ended up on which pages. Of course, I should probably just reorganize....(sigh)

As far as I know there are very few Adsense frauds going around Google's attention. I am convinced that this situation will be solved pretty soon.

That's rather horrid. Don't you check your websites codes. I always check my codes from time to time to see if any odd activity is going on plus I also check the logs.

No, I don't regularly check my website codes....Maybe I should but my little "empire" (lol) which was supposed to provide me with trouble-free revenue is doing exactly half of that.
The answer is...yes...the revenues are more than adequate. For which I'm very grateful.
The bad news is...."trouble-free" is a term that NEVER comes to mind when I think of my 150 domains, 7 hosting arrangements, 6 people, thousands of customers....

You haven't got content on them 150 sites have you? I have never really seen much point in having to many sites as the amount of work that you put into 150 can all be put into a few which will earn you more in the end. This just what I think though and you and some others will differ on this.

no. I have content on about a dozen sites, maybe eight. I have another two dozen that are redirected. And I have another 100 that are idle because I am a compulsive buyer of new domains but am somewhat inept at doing anything with them.
I would be interested in some advice here. Example:
I'm building a really cool spellingcity for kids: SpellingCity.com. At one point, I had trouble naming the site and somehow, while I was thinking about it, I accumulated a bunch of spelling urls (each with some rough conceptual art which we created and discarded without putting up) such as:
spellingfrog.com
spellingb.org
spellingant.com
spellingright.com
Actually, it's worse than that since whenever I got enamoured of a name, I would get all the variations so I actually have:
spellingant.com spelling-ant.com spellingaunt.com
spellingright.com spellingwrite.com spellingright.net spellingright.org
etc
(This is true, I just looked at my godaddy account).
Here's the question. Right now these are all idle, not even redirected.
What would be the most efficient way to use them? Or should I just let them all expire?
