Text Ad Link experience?
Anyone have experience advertise using Text Ad Link? What kind of result it brings? I just paid a $20 for my link on a PR4 site. Don't know what to expect. Just testing out...

Renting links on a monthly basis.... Hmm. I used to spend five figures a month doing that. Now I prefer to buy permanent links.

They say they don't, but professional SEO's know that their algorithm loves links, paid or otherwise.

Yeah!
Well the only way they could sue you is if they find you! Well if your competitor just tells them about the link and you may be in some trouble!

Why would they want to sue? I don't understand...

For what reason did you buy your link traffic or link juice?
Personally, I've never seen much traffic off a text link.

A few things help Google detect paid links. Spammy anchor text is one. Instability is another. Links here one month, gone next month - obviously rented.

Yes, i would rather too, but you can't always find people owning PR4-5-6 sites willing to sell permanent link. I'm talking about front page links, not article links of course.

But even if you do buy a link, what is the guarentee that the page you buy a link on will stay in high google ranking.
When google updates, what happens if that site drops significantly!
Where are some good places to buy links, or is it best to find sites specifically related to your content.

I have one text link ads sold on my PR0 site. Then we had the PR update, my site received a PR2. After that in a fews days the PR drops to PR0. WTF?? Is that because of the paid link on my site?
Last week, had another link sold on my PR0 site. Now who needs a PR when we can still make money hahahaha...

I love Text-Link-Ads and spend a few hundred each month on various sites.
*Tip
TLA has been around for awhile now and sites that were submitted and accepted at a certain price, have continued to expand and grow. However, TLA does not actively go around and increase pricing on older sites, even if they have a higher Alexa ranking or higher Google Page Rank. Therefore it's possible to buy PR5 and sometimes even PR6 links on sites for $15-$20 per month. That's because when they first signed up they only had a PR of 3-4 and low Alexa.
Just keep your eyes open. That's all the freebies for now, for more tips send me money.
