Yeah that new search should help drive adsense earnings up tremendously. It only makes "sense" that they do this, Enhance (formerly-Ah-ha) makes almost all of their revenue through ad distribution. Only thing is that i wish you could customize the search page a little more than what they are offering right now.

which option changes the text link color on the results page? I swear I tried all of them

This new feature is driving me nuts. Can someone tell me how I can put the coding on my site without the "white" background? I've installed it but I can only see the options that change the background colors, text, border, logo etc for the actual "search page" not the small search box that gets placed "within" my own site. It looks terrible with the white box against my background. I've looked and looked but can't seem to find out how to customize the small snippet of coding which carries the google logo and the search box itself.
Any ideas??
Karen

Karen. CSS.
form {
background: black;
etc
}
note that it is against the Google TOS to modify it... (my hunch is style mod will be proven ok, but don't want to risk losing your account right?)
Many people have emailed Google already, asking about styling changes and such... hold tight and we'll find out what they will and won't allow soon I hope...

Thanks - I know I can alter the code but as you say we're not supposed to so I thought they must have another way of getting it to match peoples site. Will have to wait and see!!
Thanks
Karen

I would be more interested if Google gave us a bigger chunk of the pie. They are getting $10+ on some clicks and only paying out a few cents on each.

have you done any sort of tracking which showed percent profit estimates?
i have seen HUGE differences from one click to the next. sometimes it seems almost random at best.
