What about HEMP?

Watch this video and ask yourself whether Hemp should be legal to be produced by farmers...

We’re going to have hemp party and try to proof the un-provable fact
that you can get high on hemp.

Me too, altough there is agricultural hemp farming going on in many countries there is a huge shortage of Hemp fibers at the international market.

One of my friends owns Hempflax, a Dutch Hemp fiber producer, he invested millions in development of new machinery to process hemp into fibers fit for industrial use and he told me the other day that companies like Mercedes have a hard time to get the amount of fibers they actually need for their car production simply because the demand is much larger than the production due to the many restrictions for farmers to grow it. He told me he has demand for litteraly thousands of tons more than he can supply because of those restrictions.

Here we have a biodegradable and sheaper alternative for chemical based fibers and laws prevent this green alternative to really take off and become a real replacement.

I don't know either, what I do know is that the old English word for it was "Hamp" and that it used to be a very prominent agricultural product once. Entire villages in England still have references to Hemp in their names, like Hampshire and other names with "Hamp" in it. Those names date from a time when people used to be proud growing such a useful crop.

It's a shame that politicians ignore history and simple facts in favour of the chemical industries. It's not that politicians don't know, it's just that they have other interests.

Here's a list, check out how many British towns have "Hamp" in their name;

Not sure why in america, if they knew they could get billions of dollars in tax revenue, they might let the farmers grow it. Pretty soon soft-drinks might be on the engangered species list
