I haven't seen the movie. I haven't been to the movies in about 25 years, I'm guessing.
When it becomes freely available I may watch it.

Moore was all for people downloading it online. If you see it don't feel guilty about grabbing it.
I saw it and it was fairly accurate. I've seen a few corrections here and there, and there were a few spots where some further explanation would have been nice, like the very beginning with the black Florida voters trying to get a single Senator to sign their petition but none would. There's a perfectly logical explanation of that and he didn't really get into it. Not sure why because it's not really damning to anyone.

Well this has been an interesting thread boys... first...
my father, grandfather, great.... and so on fought wars to give MM his right to be a fat, sloppy, disgusting liberal pig, so I will never state that he shouldn't have the right to put his thoughts on film and convince someone to distribute it and get people to buy tickets to see it. Yeah for freedom.
My son is now a Marine. How will I feel if he has to go to Iraq. Proud that he will also go to war under the premise of guarding our freedom. Saddam got rid of his wmd's because he knew this day would come. He continued to let the world think he had them because he liked keeping Iran in check. He still was keeping his 'power to get them back' on his hip so he could quietly restock. He was a bad bad person. Who cares if he had wmd's now or then... his brain was dangerous to the world. He started wars with his own neighbors and was looking to "rule the world"
His danger came from thinking in a similar fashion to Hitler, that it was possible to get the world to do one thing...whatever he wanted.
Killing MM wouldn't change anything...but it would be nice if he moved to Siberia... maybe?

I just finished watching Moore's film.
I must say that I enjoyed it. It's an interesting story, but it is one that is missing some very important confirmation of several obviously "implied facts" to be anything but.
Who knows, maybe he is planning a Fahrenheit 9/11 2, to provide this confirmation. I certainly hope so for his sake.
I would say that confirmation of his ideas as indisputable fact is sorely needed in the case of Michael Moore.

I think that some of Moore's complaints are indeed legitimate complaints, but when you present them in a hysterical and misleading way, it just flushes his credibility down the drain.

You guys better have a look at Liberty bound. This film won a price in Paris. The film shows more of how America changed than Moore's film does and is a lot more honest. I can recommend everyone to see it.
BTW, the Flim was send to me by the director who wanted me to review it and I have done that with a few people from the UK when I was in London last weekend, the main comment was: "Americans should know this"!

Exactly, it think he put off more people than he convinced. The left wing media has a tends to do this quite a bit. Right wing extremists also do this, but not to the same degree.

The problem w/ Moore's films are that they're not actually documentaries. They're just not!

Has our military ever been used to "guard our freedom"?
