Say what you want about the man but he can still move fast.

Ducks to miss a show thrown at him.

Bush is pretty fast in ducking out of the way. Bush should have done a round house kick to the mans head.

He's got pretty good reflexes, as if he has some experience in stuff being thrown at him. Pretzels maybe?

Bush would take batting practice when he ran his baseball team. That how he developed cat like instincts.

Finally all these preparations and ducking training Bush undertook
just in case Dick will shot him in his face paid off.

Rumour has it that the journalist shoe thrower is "in a bad shape" at an American detention center. The word "torture" has been mentioned in that regard too.

I kid you not.

The whole incident looks very professional!
The Iraqi guy throws well, he clearly had a good aim and did it all very quick, one after another and Bush is good, I don't think other presidents would be that fast to avoid a shoe, well Putin maybe

Ha. The news stations have been looping this. Don King has come out and said that Bush has natural boxing reflexes. He's looking for a promo no doubt.

Put the shoe thrower in a room alone with Bush for 30 minutes then let him go.

Sadaam would have had him publicly beheaded. Castro would have him shot against a wall. I think America is trying to do damage control because he got busted up a bit during the aftermath. Broken arm and a rib I think.

And America will probably bomb the dude's entire village to pieces in a couple of months time, preferably when there's a wedding going on.

Careful, you have to start liking us now. Our new president is a radical socialist who hates Israel. I think he's also fond of the reefer.

Why is it that you Americans are such ignoramus when it comes down to looking at what politicians REALLY stand for?

Obama a "radical socialist"? That's a joke. The dude is as right-wing as can be and LOVES Israel. he appointed a zionist to one of the most important positions in his administration and licked AIPAC's ass like all the rest of the candidates

Truth is that Obama is center-right and all the people he appointed to his future administration are also center-right and he even has a zionist banker (Robert Rubin) at his economic team.

Someone who appoints Rahm Emanuel as chief of staff and licks AIPAC's ass the way Obama did does not exactly show his "hatred for Israel" and his choice for his economic team (Wall street people) does not indicate that one can expect "radical socialism", one has to be really detached from reality to believe such nonsense.

Wow. Even Obama doesn't do it for you? He's a far left, redistributionist, career race-baiting, Chicago politician who keeps constant company with and shares philosophy with scores of Americas most well known radical leftists from domestic terrorists to black liberation theologists.

You make a lot of good arguments, but you'll never convince anyone that Obama is anywhere near right field. He hates constitutional America and individualism with all the fervor of our most outspoken critics. Exactly how far left does someone have to get before you'll accept them? Or does being American just automatically disqualify them?

South, for one I really wonder what gave you the idea that I am a person who is in favour of "left". I am not. I am in favour of basic human and individual rights and both the American republican and democrat parties have a decennia-long track record of enforcing laws that violate those rights.

As for Obama being "far left", I think you should have a good look at who his advisers are and ask yourself whether "other" far left politicians like Fidel Castro or Hugo Shavez would surround themselves with the same kind of advisers.

From where I'm looking at it and comparing his philosophies and voting record to the views of European politicians he can not be compared with "socialist" European politicians at all, rather with guys like Italian's Berlusconi, UK's Tony Blair or our Dutch christian-right politicians who advocate the same policies as Obama.

As for his views on the economy, I suggest you to read this article that I came across the other day, I think it brings lots of things into perspective...
