The Oath of Office is so well known...it is too bad the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court mangled the word order...he is an exceedingly bright man...but he accidentaly tripped up....

Well he did it again today, swearing the oath that is. In the Map Room apparently. Although there was no Bible available to swear it on.

Anybody know if it has to be sworn on a Bible?

The legal guys apparently thought it best he do it again because conspiracy theorists might claim that since he fluffed the oath, he was never sworn in properly as President. I'm wondering if the same thing will happen cos it was not done on the Bible?

Anybody know if it was televised in the US. We didn't get any TV film of it in the UK, at least not that I've seen.

President Obama has a lot of work to put back this country on the right economic path. I believe the system needs a deep analyse before taking any decision.

I watched it on television. It was pretty good.
He's already memorable. If not for making history by being the first African American to lead the Free World, we'll remember that his oath was screwed up and he had to do it all over again. lol
