After all the mess with banks and credit card companies, I find it hard to tell who`s telling the truth. As a stout follower of trends and marketing. I suspect that there will be over 100,000 store closings. As I am writing this post, store are closing at an alarming rate and what`s worst is most are just shutting down with no fanfare.

The online stores will take a major hit as well but will be less. The same rules apply that the ones who have big advertising budgets will win out. Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see!

I agree with you, here in Nevada stores are shutting down very fast and in high quantity.

As far as online stores, I believe it is the same trend as brick and mortar stores. When online shoppers reduce or stop spending, online stores will not survive. Even the corporations with big advertising budgets will take a huge hit. Are they big enough or healthy enough to stay in business? We will see.

I think there is a good expression: "Don't count your chickens before they've hatched"

Anyway, we are still optimistic with our online business. Like we say in French: "Ca passe ou ca casse".

If WallMart shut down the economy would explode and would be booming.

Look at how many businesses Walmart has shut down across the United States. That is a lot of jobs and the other thing that bothers me about Wall-Mart is they send all the profits back to Arkansas instead of keeping it and spending it locally.

PS: your music was really cool "back in the day."

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I`m thinking about bringing out a new single. " Why is everyone crying the blues"

Have a great week and prosper.
