6 days. Not even a wounding! Did manage to kill 3 innocent deer, though.

What's that mean, they kicked you out?

They escorted me to the border, and told me not to come back.

No. I went over in my 1-ton truck with my tools in the back. They thought I was there to steal work from Canadians and when I told them off, they deported me. Scumbags even told the US Border Patrol to check me for drugs, even though they had no reason to suspect it.

John, this is a pretty much expected situation if you come in to a country with tools. I get hard times fromt the US border people when I bring documents to mail from within the US. And if you told them off, well, what did you expect? A lollypop, or a bottle of maple syrup?

Next time you're coming back to the US from abroad try an experiment: tell the US border people of when they start askign questions where you went and what you did. See how that compares to Canadian borders guards.

On international borders, any borders, the rule is simple - you DO NOT tell them off. They can, and will give you hard time if you try to be too smart, and that doesn't depend whether it's Canada, US or any othr country.
