Here is what I do not understand. Yes, I fully realize that the safety of the officers is of great concern in cases such as these, but dang it, one Texas boy could have subdued this student and had him in cuffs in under a minute. Are you seriously telling me that with FOUR trained police officers present, it took more than 10 baton strikes AND a shock with a taser gun to get this guy restrained? Were the officers in grave danger when he was laying on the floor screaming in pain? What's missing in this story.
