Smoking is really bad to our health. Cigarette smoke contains thousands of toxins that can immediately create damage once it gets inside our body. Cigarette smoking must be stopped!

You can't tell a smoker to stop smoking, because almost in his life he/she smokes..And there is no one not even close to him/her could tell him/her to stop it..We all know that it is bad for our health but they we smokers find a relief when we smokes..

Smoking kills man! Chewing tobacco in any form is not good for health. I have seen people dying because of these bad habits.

I smoke. Probably around three packs a day now, and I started around 45 years ago. Would I like to quit? Sure! Have I tried? Many times. I even succeeded once, for six months, but that was around 25 years ago.

Lately, I've been thinking seriously about quiting. And once I talk myself into it, I'll just quit. Whether it'll last or not, remains to be seen. That time I quit for six months, it really was easy, surprisingly enough! But I was stupid, and one night when we were out drinking, I bought a pack, and here I am, puffing away again!

I quit for 2 of my 30 years of smoking. Same scenario... Was out drinking had a couple of smokes one night, and poof! Smoking again full time.

Truth be known, for the 2 years I quit, I was smoking 'other stuff' for the duration. So technically, I really never did quit.

Seriously looking at quitting this year. Going to miss offending people with my dirty habit.

I took up smoking when I was 12. I gave it up when I was 14.

I took it up again when I was 15 and smoked for 15 years. Coughing up crap in the shower each morning really sucked, and I threw away 2 packs of cigarettes one New Years Eve and stopped smoking.

A couple of weeks ago, 25 years later I enjoyed a cigar, the first smoke to enter my lungs for that long and it was good. The second cigar tasted like crap. I now look forward to never have smoke in my lungs again.

Smokers knew what consequences cigarettes can do to their body and health, but who cares?!
Non-smokers out there could never really tell the enjoyment we smokers feel everytime we puff our cigarettes..

Although I am not smoker but I dont condemn people who smokes its just that I really hate it when they smoke in front of me or those who has asthma .. Sometimes smokers tend to abuse it and they were not worried about people who isnt use of smoking and the effects of there smoking to other people

Smoking is dangerous, slow poison etc. Every one know but he commit mistake and do smoking. It is human nature to commit mistake intentionally. If you ask children to do not touch that object then children will try to touch. Smoker are like the same. They know it is injurious although smoke. I don't think to expense money on advertise for stop smoking.
Simply ban the Cigarette Industries. Only one solution.

Yes, I am a bit biased since my family are all non-smokers, but smoking raises your Major Medical Health Insurance Rates, your life insurance rates, and reduces your life expectancy.

So maybe I'm missing something?

Personally i dont mind it.
I smoke myself and im at a young age.
I'm 16 years old, have been smoking for around about 3 years (started early due to family issues and have been addicted since).

I spent around $20 a week on cigarettes, depending what im doing during the week.
Like if im sat at home working all day ill smoke more than if im in school..

Damn, need a cigarette now...!

Regards,

I personally would have introduced a bill which gives tax breaks for business owners of "smoke free establishments" and then let the free market decide.
