Manipulative Political Ads

Hot Ads of the Week
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_1...13-503544.html

After reading the above linked article (and watching the ads) I would love to hear your thoughts about political advertisements. Were any of these the type that would catch your attention?

Do the mud slinging campaigns help or hurt?

I would love to hear your thoughts on political ads in general....

Ads don't matter to me, they can be Republicans or Democrats only their track record matter. Now, there are subjects I do agree with them and some others I don't, you have to find the right balance close to your own philosophy.

To me political ads are comedy. I like the one of the Gubenatorial candidate taking the shower. I measure things nowadays by whether someone is a Washington insider or an outsider. I am for the outsiders. The incumbents with their ads and their agendas are nothing but a joke

Quayle's broke through the clutter as a no BS ad. That is not an endorsement.

Everyone likes to say they hate the mudslingers and slinging but lets be honest in the past it has won many an election. People are influenced by the mud, especially the juicy kind.

For the most part my mind was made up 8 months ago and isn't likely to change. In most cases I applied the same reasoning as devonshire.
