Why arn't we screaming at the lawmakers if that is what it takes to get this loophole closed! It was also on the news that 107 people have successfully scam Medicare out of 452 million dollars and they can't get it back. The video that is here we (taxpayers) have lost $4.2 BILLION. And they know it is going on!

I'm not sure which is more appalling, that they couldn't figure out that something like this could happen when making the policy, or that they're doing nothing about it. I suppose the latter, but either way, loopholes such as this should not exist. In my opinion, if you have no desire to become a citizen or at least attain a work visa, you should not receive free benefits and free money via loopholes. Sounds harsh, but a little self responsibility goes a long way. Handouts need to decrease greatly in this country.

Yes, weebitty, this really makes me irritated.

I think of all the taxes my husband and I pay and the thought that part of the money is handed out to people for children who don't even reside in this country is nauseating.

What is so sad is that I think this is just the tip of the iceberg.

The entire article is bogus.

You can not claim a child credit on more than 2 children.
I should know. I raised six.

Anyway ... for the purposes of tax extracted from one's pay check,
there is nothing illegal about claiming as many dependents as you want.
They could live only in your imagination.

There was a tax credit when we all were younger that did have some limits. I see no limits in this giveaway.

There is definitely some weird stuff in tax code.
I'll grant that. However, migrant workers limiting their
tax liability by whatever means legal does not concern me.

Know what does make me mad?
