True, and I believe Nick is the one that brought it up. Called for a vote right outta the blue didn't he? Or maybe I'm confusing this w/another thread.

I thought Ferre handled it pretty well considering this was the opening post.

As for leaving, I recall Trapper saying something about not letting the door hit him on the way out but I took it he mean't that certain people should stay out of this section and not leave the forum entirely.

From then on I think we all just had a joke about it -

If I were a very bad girl, I would have said something about the poor horse ending up there, but I am an angel, so I won't.

But thats what they're for Cricket

Suppose you could always send them a fish wrapped in newspaper through the post but that usually means things are going to get very bad for them so I suppose the good old horses head routine will do just fine - Everyones a winner

Hehhe, as a father of a bunch of boys, the oldest being 27 and the youngest is 7, I ought to, compared to my kids, Nick is a lightweight.

And my kids being half Italian they might start looking for a horse when they accidently stumble upon this post.

Nick does bring this stuff upon himself and Nick was the first person to suggest that Nick should leave. That wasn't too bright.

Nobody wants to hear someone whining about taking their toys and leaving the playground. I think the response could have been much worse, given Nick's history.

What's next? Is he going to threaten to hold his breath? Sheesh!

I thought Ferre was fair, as fair as fair can be.

Anyone threatening leaving a forum is looking for the attention. The whole point of creating the politics section was to avoid things like type of thing that occured when he started this thread.

Sorry if I offended anyone.

I didn't partake in the ganging up on Nick. He's my fiance / sugar daddy.

@Trapper: I understood you meant "leaving this subsection" and NOT the forum. You didn't offend me, dude! I don't think you were even the least bit out of line.

@Christy: I also don't think Nick was ganged up on. I thought people (everyone) handled him with class, considering the idiocy of his posts on the topic.

1. Trying to dictate to Ferre where he should post his political views.
(When did Nick become moderator???)
2. Threatening to take his toys and go home. Tactics like that should have been left behind before exiting public school. Adults don't usually threaten to go. They just go.
3. Calling for a vote on the matter. That's eerily reminiscent of the "Bash Nick" thread, created by................ (you guessed it) Nick.

All things considered, I thought Nick got off easy in this thread. I can't see where anyone was overly disrespectful of him, just informed him that if he doesn't like the content here, he doesn't have to enter the political threads. That's WHY they were separated from the lobby.

And by the way Nick, I got your back. I read this entire thread and think your not a troll at all and you have expressed yourself with real "class", unlike Gorillaboy. Yeah, I'm a newbie (on this forum), but so what? Is this a "most post equals better person system?" Ban me, or do what you gotta do, I stand fully by my statements.
