Anybody want to sign this Petition??

http://now.msn.com/15-states-start-p...-leave-the-usa

I have heard of some states wanting to secede but not this many at one time. I don't think they will have much trouble finding 25,000 signatures!

Well it would seem that this idea is spread quickly. All 50 states have petitions now. Here is a overview of Texas if they suceded from the government. Mainly point being they would be out from under the government debit!! They have alot of the resources needed to support themselves.

Anyone remember what happened when Texas and neighboring states decided to secede and form the Confederacy?

Yea...history is probably going to repeat itself on a much larger scale this time around if this should ever happen.

Hardly.

First it won't happen. A petition means nothing until it goes on the ballot and is voted upon. Even if some state is stupid enough to pass it, the Feds will never allow it to happen.

Not surprising, Ron Paul is all for it ... or something like that but (not) really ?

Americans were really not for the 1860 version either but what politicians can accomplish never ceases to amaze the improbable.

of course I listened to Mr. Innocence .... and his deferment against the Pledge of Allegiance to America - nothing new there.

SM: I fixed that for you - thanks, not sure why it did not show the image ?
