I think that too many times people want to be able to blame someone for every bad thing that goes wrong in the world. Every terrible thing that happens has to be someones fault so someone can pay.

Sometimes stuff just happens and it is not really anyones fault.

Zimmerman could have done some things differently and the outcome would have changed.

Martin could have done some things differently and the outcome would have changed.

They didn't and though I bet they both wish they could go back and change what happened they can't. I can't really fault someone too much for defending themselves while getting beaten and their skull pounded into a concrete surface.

The story is more an example of media exploiting a tragic situation to turn it into entertainment/ratings generator and politicians using it as a opportunity to pander to their base.

The difference between the two stories?

Trayvon divides people.
Temar unites people.

The Trayvon story goes on for months. The Temar story will be buried long before that.

We need a lot more stories like that on the news.

I couldn't agree more.
We could use a few more reminders of how great we can be when called upon.

Once upon a time the news media reported the news....

Now they try to make the news......for the benefit of "awards"?

They just stir the pot until something cooks up.....
They rarely enforce a good news story.....
