Question Middle Class is Disappearing!

http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/advis...155040791.html. We are in trouble if the middle class disappears. We help build this country as stated in this article. Any comments from anyone on this? We are not out of the economic woes yet and this certainly doesn't help our nation.

I confess to not reading the article but I agree that it is rapidly becoming a major problem. For sure the lower third of the middle class is under a heavy attack. It will have a far reaching impact on the total economy because the middle class is the engine that drives a consumer driven economy.
I do not put ads or pop-ups in my posts and I have no control of what shows there. I do not endorse any product displayed in my post.

Economy changes all the time and we are noticing that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

"The middle class is barely distinguishable from the poor."

This video certainly helps put things in perspective...

What a wonderful representation it is. I guess it can be applied to 99% of the nations world wide.

Capitlism is a great idea, when regulated. This new movement to give corporations the power to do whatever they want has dire results. As they make their companies more efficient, they systematically break quality jobs down into multiple parts so they can be performed by a group of unskilled workers for much less pay, furthering profits.

Taxes are one problem, but the real problem is that a corporation exists for one sole purpose: to improve efficiency and to increase profit. It has no moral compass and is constantly figuring out how to simplify its components. Those components are us.
