Angry Man blows 0.00 on breathalyzer, gets arrested for DWI

Back in 2013, Texas resident Larry Davis ran either a red light or stop sign (reports vary) in his Buick in the city of Austin. Despite his insistence that he had had only one drink, he was put in handcuffs and arrested for driving while intoxicated. Then, when he was given a Breathalyzer test by the AustinPolice Department, he blew a 0.00. Nonetheless, as KVUE reports, Mr. Davis spent the night in jail. More on the story http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/oddnews/...003450614.html

Talking about injustice!

That has been going on and justifiably so for 40 years that I know of....

Impaired drivers need not be loaded with alcohol...

And defense attorneys quite commonly try to raise objections that mostly turn out to be "BS"...

They claim that police are doing all sorts of bad things in an effort to free their guilty client...

They get paid to do that..
And they love to be on the front page of the newspaper...free advertising...

Of the many DUI arrests that I personally made...rarely did anyone admit to more that two drinks.....My conviction rate...100%...

Once arrested and convicted two people for driving the same car....)

My bad....

I'm sorry officer Gillum, but I think you missed this part of the story: "Then, when he was given a Breathalyzer test by the AustinPolice Department, he blew a 0.00." and "While at the station, Mr. Davis agreed to give a blood sample as well, to prove he was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. The results would later come back 100% negative."

Looks like the only "BS" here is those S.O.B. police and their misbehaving and unprofessional behavior thinking they are the "supreme" force of nature believing they could do anything they want, to anyone, anywhere! *******S!

many people are alive and safe today due to the efforts of cops....

Actually known as police officers...

You are entitled to your opinion....

I agree with you on that Jim. I do respect COPS, the GOOD ones. They're the reasons why we're safe & sounds, but I strongly am against those S.O.B. bad cops. They should be put in jail for their using the power given to them to harm others, or at least get them fired!

I have arrested cops...and fired cops.....

There are legal systems to protect the public from abuses.....
Even the FBI will investigate.....

It is difficult to make a sound judgement solely based on newspaper reports....
They are know to be somewhat less than reliable...

It is also hard to determine fault without actually being able to review all the facts and interview any witnesses..
