Canada had the most positive rating in the survey, with 54 percent viewing it positively and 14 percent negatively. It was followed by Japan and France.

There are a lot of prejudices in the minds of people all around the world.

I live in Argentina and many here think that USA is a country full of credulous people who believe anything from their politicians. Hurts to say it, but that's what most people believe. Wish we can all learn more and start thinking before answering to these kind of surveys.

LONDON - Israel, Iran and the United States were the countries with the most negative image.
Notice who the top BAD guys are?
Isreal becouse they defended themself from Hezbollah.
Iran becouse they are the true enemy of the west.
america becouse europe has had a 40 year hate for americans.

I tell it like it is.

That sounds like a circular reference. They are unpopular cuz they are unpopular?
Also, note that not only Europeans took part in the poll.

in otherwords, the poll would have had the same results if it had been taken
1 month after D-Day.

So what is new???

I dunno what would have happened then. That would be speculation, and I'd speculate that the opinions would be likely in favor of Americans.

You would be wrong then.

My dad after D-Day was in france taking AID to the french people
from the cargo ships, and just out side was groups of french people
yelling "GO HOME GI, GO HOME" after awhile my dad stood up on
a piller, and told them all, "OK IF WE GO, ALL THIS STUFF GOES WITH US"

thats about the time all the yelling stoped.

Seems like your dad saved Franco-American relations. At least for some time. Kudos to him.

Well, I think it's sad, that my dad wanted to be at home becouse the
war was over anyway, yet had to help with the after math. yet was
treated like crap.

He said later, that we should have had them bring boats to the US so
we could fill it with AID, and let them take it back.

But you try to help, and I guess thats all you can do.
and even if they did not like how it was done, my dad said he can sleep
at night knowing he tried.

which says more for him then for those who did not even say thanks.

which leads me to my point, they never liked us, so what is new here?
did it take this many years later to finally do a poll to confirm this???

Never? Really?
Did they hate Americans so much that they helped them in the American revolution? Or sent the Statue of Liberty to the US out of their hatred towards Americans?

Back then our goverment was not known to be great, so for your own
purpose you are going back to a point where it suites you.

So I will make sure that even you can understand this.
sence after ww2 they have never liked us, as soon as we help
to save them and give aid to them. thats is when it started.

You too can dislike america, but before you do, make sure you know it's
the right thing to do. couse that is one thing you can do for only for yourself.

Right. USA people are seeing like very naive on those things.

Then you obviously don't know much about the USA people.

Your words are arrogant and insulting. Grow up and realize that the world outside your mind isn't entirely ignorant.
