Another evil lawyer
Is it any wonder that lawyers are the butt of so many jokes in America. In some other countries they actually respect hteir lawyers and don't understand why we make fun of them so much in American humour.
They haven't heard about this guy.

I heard about this earlier this morning. Unf*ckingbelievable!
Quote:
Because Pearson no longer wanted to use his neighborhood dry cleaner, part of his lawsuit calls for $15,000 — the price to rent a car every weekend for 10 years to go to another business.
"He's somehow purporting that he has a constitutional right to a dry cleaner within four blocks of his apartment,"
|
He has a constitutional right to a swift kick in the ass!
I hope the negative publicity from this totally screws up his reappointment plans.

It makes you wonder what is happening to the world when those charged with upholding the rights of the citizens behave in this way.
He should be paraded and lambasted to the full extent of the media as an example to the judiciary that it will not be tolerated among the legal profession. Who do they think they are celebrities?

He won't get lambasted or ridiculed because he supports all of this garbage. Frivolous lawsuits have run amok in the US. Truly a liberal judge if ever there was one.
News here in the US is full of murders, rapists and pedophiles getting no time or the liberal - counseling sessions, while white collar criminals get the book thrown at them.

Reuters is reporting:
Quote:

Pearson said during the trial he would keep $2.5 million for himself and use the remainder of the award to encourage others to file similar lawsuits.
|
Bummer! Now I won't get to have him pay for filing my lawsuit against my dry cleaner for using heavy starch when I explicitly told them to use medium starch! Another blow to the consumer ...

Hopefully he gets stuck with the attorney's fees for the defendants and gets disbarred or something...

Nifong of the Duke lacrosse case finally got his just desserts. Disbarment and public ridicule.

He deserves more, floging, prison time 75 years, maybe even castration.
Just pure lying and abuse
Cheers
