Paris Hilton is Out of Prison
I guess some of you might have already heard of the news. According to Yahoo, she had served 5 days (out of 45 days sentence) in prison.
Due to some unknown medical reason, she will be serving her remaining sentence at home.... HUH? at home.... I wonder why she gets such privilege?
Where's the justice and the law? *sigh* |

She already got to serve the sentence basically in a private cell. Why should she get extra privileges?

It is important to find out why because if she can get away with it, then so can many others.
Here, lies the problem with the law - One set of rules for us, another set for them.
I would bet that there are people with more serious medical conditions that couldn't get away with it.

Her "medical condition" is that she was refusing to eat the food they serve in jail. I don't know how she qualified that as a "medical condition". It sounds more like her usual "diet" technique.
So all y'all who get put in jail, remember not to eat the green beans. Then you, too, can get out with 1/4 of your sentence "served"!

You guys have no idea how many normal people get sentanced to 20, 30, 40 etc days in JAIL and are released after 24 hours. Two words: OVER CROWDED.
It's not uncommon for DUI arrests to be site and release down in Southern CA either... drunk tank even filling up.
