What a load of HOGWASH.
I have a few questions:
How many of the noble participants in this debacle have any knowledge of the situations they object to, except what they readin the newspapers and see on TV? How many have ever even visited Iraq? How many have ever been outside their own country?
The statement was made that there were 4 MILLION tons of depleted uranium dropped on Iraq. Did anyone do a sanity check on that figure?
Lets say that each fighter bomber can carry 5 tons of bombs,in which case it would require 800,000 sorties in a months period or twenty sorties every minute of every day for a month! Let me assure you that is just not possible even with the great an air power that the US has.
War is never nice, never tidy, and there are always casualties, but it is oft times necessary. If you want a vaid opinion of the necessity of removing Saddam ask the Iraqi people, not someone sitting before the fire in Canada or Holland sipping their beer and proclaiming on things which they have no actual knowledge of. Sure express your opinions, but first find out what you are talking about.
Yes I agree that there is a mess in Iraq, but at least there are a few nations who are trying to clean up the mess, and there are many more sitting on the sidelines critising.
For me I will always side with those that try to solve the problems, instead of those who choose to sit on the sidelines and complain.
