I don't know if these were the circumstances of this particular case, but I can see euthanasia as a valid exercise when the person who wants to die makes that absolutely clear and is unable to complete the act themselves.
I don't think shooting them in the head is the best way to go about it, though.

Youth in asia.... euthanasia?
The Husband messed it up anyways, it's two in the chest and one in the head not the other way around. I think youthanasia is murder anyways; we put animals out of their misery not people, otherwise nobody would be left.

I agree with euthanasia only if the person is going to definitely die a horrible horrible death, and only if they choose to have it done. I don't feel that the husband had the right to make that decision.

I think, if the wife had expressed a desire to die, then ... I wouldn't prosecute.

I let it ride as I seem to understand your humour dude Though maybe thats not such a good thing!
Biblically wise, I would have to say no, but that doesn't mean that I don't feel for those poor people who have to witness a loved one go through so much suffering.
Maybe my opinion may change when I am put in such a situation, though I so do not wish this on anybody.

Its a huge can of worms. So many vulnerable people would need protecting.

This article makes no mention of the woman's wishes, or if she even had any.

Maybe not. It seems he simply took it upon himself to make the decision, but that may not be the case.

Seems that way to me too. Wish they would've included more in the article.
I wonder what they're going to do with him.

I'm pretty sure that's been stopped in most places... some hogwash about cruel and unusual. I don't really think I'd worry about cruel (and it wouldn't be unusual if it was, well, usual) seeing as murderers don't really worry about that. But that's a bit off-topic.

I think the situation is most likely called aggressive euthanasia..
"Aggressive euthanasia entails the use of lethal substances or forces to kill and is the most controversial means." wiki
