ServerMatrix handling orders very slowly

I signed up with ServerMatrix, BUT I'm already seeing some trouble ahead. ServerMatrix is handling orders very slowly for some reason, and it seems like I am not the only one. Did they handle orders so slowly in the past, or they started having this problem very recently?

Not having very good luck with host companies lately. The one I signed up shortly over a month ago is a disaster, and I'm not so sure how ServerMatrix is different. Damn ...

All the servers I have ever orded from them have come online within 24 hours. Including one ordered last week.

well sofar it has taken them over 2 days to set my server up and still waiting.

Funny, everyone's chatting at ServerMatrix is here now.

So we learned that Celeron 2.4 was close out priced and it appears that a bunch of orders were made(though many of us were totally aware of this). Consequently, those of us who ordered Celeron 2.4 have been waiting a lot longer than usual. That seems to be the gist of the story.

I would have appreciated if ServerMatrix had told us though; like I said, many of us were totally unaware that Celeron 2.4 was close out priced.

Given that I am in no way assocated with SM other than as a customer the close out comment was more of a mis use of words. Something like Bargen Basement would have been more correct in describing the price that they currently have on that particular product.

Yeah, but I still have not got the product I ordered; it's been 70 hours+, since I received this "Welcome to ORBIT" email. I was given no explanation why it's taking so long officially from ServerMatrix. I don't exactly call this a quality service.

I would call sales and ask them whats up. Do it in a nice manor of course. Getting agressive wont get you anything. When they give the stock line "should be setup in the next 24 hours" you can ask why you have been given that line for the last three days. If you play your cards right you might get some very happy results.

It appears that I am not the only one who's waiting for days(literally); I heard many good things about Server Matrix, and I'm sure that they wrote honest reviews, but it's not the same any longer. They take very long time to take care of orders and this is a fact.

Did you look in your orbit login to see if you had a server listed in the hardware area? Also is there a root password listed in the password area. If so your server could have acutally been setup and the server details e-mail could have gotten lost in a spam filter some place.

There was one server listed in Hardware -> Server Passwords, and I made an inquiry about it; this is my first support ticket. Then, I received the answer saying like "Server will be ready in 24 hours." 100 hours after I received "Welcome to ORBIT" email, I finally received welcome email from ServerMatrix; this happened several hours ago. For some funny reason, Hardware -> Server Passwords lists two hardware names now, though Hardware -> Details only lists one.

If so your server could have actually been setup and the server details e-mail could have gotten lost in a spam filter some place.

This is not possible; believe it or not, the email I use to communicate with ServerMatrix has no spam filter, none whatsoever.

My order from them was also done in 24hr, sofar no problems

I notice a lot of tiny outages with ServerMatrix. Just a minute here, a minute there, but still not good.

Short outages like you have reported are most likly routing issues eithe rwithin their own network or somewhere between you and them.

I know with serverbeach I cant access my servers for a few minutes every so often. I know its not my server cause when it happens I cant access any SB server.
