Linux VPS with Exchange

Hey,

I currently have a Linux VPS (with Combell) and would like to run an Exchange calendar, mail, ... service. The only thing currently installed, alongside my forum software en such, is Plesk.

What program would you advice to run an Exchange server?

Thanks in advance.

If it's a brand new project I'd research using Google apps instead. It has alot of the functionality of Exchange, and is free.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it. However, in case Google App doesn't for fill my needs, is there an Exchange possibility?

Plesk/Parallels offers a related product as part of their cloud computing applications.

Ah do they? Now that's an interesting point.

I am wondering though. This is a Linux VPS but Exchange is a Windows product? Do I not need to visualize Windows in some way?

You should take a look at Zimbra. Zimbra is a good opensource Exchange alternative and it runs on Linux. There is a free version.
I'm not sure that it's a good idea to run it on a Virtuozzo VPS. Better take a "real" virtual machine.
