I doubt you'll be able to find a quality managed dedicated server that will meet your budget. For under $50/month you'd be better suited to a VPS

One of the guys I see at webforums elsewhere (Kovich) wrote a brief breakdown of hosting services (comparing VPS vs Reseller vs Dedicated, etc). Basically it agrees with what Pingpipe said above. Might look it over to assess your needs vs budget. It's elementary but concise: http://www.runningonlinebusiness.com/web-hosting/

I would for a VPS not a dedicated server at that price.
OVH in the EU might do a dedicated server though close to that.

To be honest, if you're looking for a managed server you will not find one for $50/mth. Most reputable Management companies charge more then that just as Managed Services and excluding the actual server.

Some seasoned vendors out there to consider would be:

http://hivelocity.com/dedicated-serv...te-VPS-servers

https://www.liquidweb.com/cart/content/vps/ (research this company because they have an array of mixed reviews). If you're in Europe they also have a DC facility in Holland I believe.

www.zipservers.com

Also, when looking for a VPS I would also ask to see what software they're using to deliver the VPS service. If the host is using the Parallels Virtuozzo Containers then that's two thumbs up .

Parallels does have some advantages over the other VPS technologies such as HyperVM or OpenVZ. A few months ago HyperVM had a major bug that affected many VPS providers and their clients. The Parallels Containers offers the highest levels of density, performance and manageability.

Good luck on your search and let us know which host you pick when you come across one.

I doubt you'll be able to get a managed vps with 2 TB of bandwidth, cPanel VPS license alone costs $15.00/mo.

@ Supercops, Dedi is a whole big server and has more memory and all than VPS. Dedi's performance is better than VPS.

Added- selection should be made properly. If you have to make a selection between P3 Dedi and some good VPS then P3 performance would be laggy for sure.
-----------------

On the main point..

Bro, your friend asked a very good question but quoted a very poor price. In such a budget he can get good VPS only.

Its highly impossible to get a dedicated server in $50/mo. However, I can suggest you few reliable and reputable VPS Hosting providers, just need to know your requirements first, I mean which platform, disk space and required bandwidth and RAM. The companies I will be suggesting are well-established and has a good trust in this hosting industry.

To get a quality managed dedicated server in $50 is not possible. As per your budget under $50/month VPS is good option for you.

They're an old host, and for those looking for managed servers, they're definitely a host to look into/inquire about. For those who like to take care of their servers on their own, they'll probably be needlessly expensive.

How long have you been using them?

I have been using them for about a year now and i am extremely satisfied. I needed a dedicated server because i use magento which is just too heavy to be used on a shared server. I thought i would be kind of on my own, but they really help out like when i need programs installed on the server and the such. I never waited more then 10-15 for a ticket reply which i find to be really amazing. (and they reply to my dumb requests as if they were smart lol)
