Need a dedicated server!

Hi Guys

i now have a dedicated server with layeredtech in which, is being canceled on the 6th with IMMEDIATE disconnection, i have already called my bank and put a block on these monkeys from billing me (yep im 1 step ahead)

Im a uni student, i dont have much to spend on a dedicated server, atm im paying $79 USD for an amd 2500+, 512mb ram, 80gb hdd, 1000gb data with direct admin.
Is it possible for you to steer me in the right direction for a similar plan, im willing to spend upto $90 USD for a server which will allow irc related processes, BNC's to be more specific, will also need, at the request of me, some extra ip's with no charge

I gather its a difficult thing to find, but im relatively new to the whole dedicated scene so im sure one of you nice fellas are willing to point me in the right direction

FDC Servers were looking ok for awhile untill they refused to bill my creditcard but rather wanted a paypal payment, in which, im short of $11 USD in my paypal account, and im not verified to add funds, i told them to call me to verify it was me n got a pissy email back. thus i was fired up n gave them a couple options, 1 to speak to a manager in regards to this matter, 2 bill my credit card and call me to verify its me, or 3 ill find somewhere else to go

the next email i got back was

We have not billed your credit card, we are more then happy for you to shop elsewhere.
Your server will not be setup

yeh ok so at this time im pretty fuming, they just turned away a potential customer because they cant be bothered to call someone to verify some details? great business ethics there!

The dedicated server is a MUST to have DirectAdmin and atleast 10 usable ip

Haven't checked the prices in a while, but I'd guess ServerBeach has something similiar to what you need. And if you refer a few people to ServerBeach each month, it turns out to be free.

i've had a look at their servers
they are abit out of my range unfortunately

their $79 plan is sold out
n doesnt have directadmin as a control panel which is what i need ;s

anyone else got anything ?

Hey brappinseven, you posted the exact same thread at WHT also I use layeredtech for my server and have found them to be great. I dont know why you bad mouth them like this, it seemed pretty obvious at wht that they where not at fault.
