Hi i'm running with a server with an email policy of 5000 email on the database and a limit of 500 emails sent per hour. However, the customer service mentioned that this 5000 email limit is built into the database and I won't be able to add more even if i wanted.

If i'm running joomla, there's an option to import email database without a limit. Am i able to by-pass the server database limit this way? (i still keep trottling my emails to keep below the 500 / hr limit) Will I get flagged for an excessive database?

Sure you will. No host is tolerant for TOS violation.

Should be doable as the server only limit the number of records in the database. So if you still within the 500 pr hr limit I dont see why you cant remove the old record and put the new records in.

Its theoritical off course as I have limited (none whatsoever) experience sending bulk email.

Have you got your web host? There are numbers of web hosting companies providing cheap email marketing.
