[Linux] Changing MySQL Admin/User Passwords
1. Login to your server via SSH and su - to root (do not forget the - after su).
2. At the command prompt type: # mysqladmin -h localhost -u username -p password new-password 3. You will be asked for your original password and then it will change to your new desired password. |
