This tool is on a few cpanel's (V7 Inc has it) but cPanel has now removed it, does anyone know why?

Well submitting to search engines is pretty much pointless in the first place so it wouldn't make much difference to me. I'd never use it. I suppose it could help to put all those we'll submit your website to over 1,000,000,000,000 search engines for $49.99 out of business. That would be a good thing.
