Tried to delete a domain while I was inside the domain folders using WinSCP

Hi, I tried to delete a domain while I was logged in to WinSCP in one of the domain folders I was going to delete. Plesk said....

Now it says that everytime I try to delete the domain.

What can I do , please help.

Are you logged in as the Plesk "user" for that domain? If so, try logging in as a different privileged user and delete the domain the different user is not associated with. I don't think you can delete a domain entirely as long as you are logged in as the Plesk user associated with the domain. There are rules against suicide ...

Hi thanks for replying. I managed to muck up the whole system so all users and all domains were so buggered up I could not use any of them. Luckly all the domains are mine so I just "re-imaged" my server which is a function that 1and1 offer to wipe your server and start again. When I say wipe, what it does is set the server to how it was when they give it to you. At least I can do that but knowing what I know now I will never leave ftp on when I dleete or edit a domain.

Im suprised I didnt get more of a resopnse, Ive posted this question all over the internet and have had a proper soultion. Hasnt any body done this before? Surely there are other plonkers like me?
