I've been posting in that thread. Don't recognize me without a pictured huh?
|
I got it - took a few minutes. They locked the thread, and the moderator claimed that RackShack was willing to refund Oct. payment. But it's not true. Mario Rodriguez made no such statement.
I actually prefer this outcome. I was very flippant with Mario. He kept asking me what I wanted from EV1, and I said I didn't care either way. I told him to act as he thought best.

Never did I mention did not want to settle this in the public eye.
Let’s step back here you called me three times attempting to contact me.
My initial email to you was to insure that you were in fact using that email which you confirmed by replying and my last email to you was everything I have been telling you all along.
I doubt my post here will stick as you're the mod god here but I wanted the truth to be told.
Have a nice day!

Only because you emailed me.
You know what you did was wrong. Now the world can know about it.

Truth be told? Then admit that RackShack is a thieving scam.
And I don't censor stuff here. You lied over at your forum. You had your mod close the thread. Kinda dirty, huh? Censorship in favor of RS.

Welcome to IMR Mario, have you hit the 'New Member Introductions Forum" yet? I must say, I was quite suprised to hop over here and see a post from you addressing the issue at hand. I surely hope that you and JohnScott can get this resolved.

WHT is not our forum, look it up.
No lies all truth and if you want and I would certainly like to post everything regarding your account here of course with your and the account holder's permission which is the person I kept asking for while our discussion was going.
Thank you for pointing me here now I know 'who's who' before I was trying to figure out who certain people were because of certain post thank you for sharing this resource with me.
I think the forum post over at WHT says it all I responded to every single thing that you had brought up and after that you did not even care to mention any of those things.
And about your "friend's" hard drive that is a whole new issue one of which as stated I don't have time for all I will say is that mistakes happen and when they do if we are wrong we will admit it demonstrated many times in our own forums as well search and you will find.
You stated in WHT that you did not care about the money but here your stating that you will do whatever it takes to get your money back.
If you want me to talk to your partner about what is going on to avoid you any troubles I will i'll help you out but admitting to a lie that is not true I will certainly not do, as my job here will not allow that nor will our 17,000 +++ customers.
You can gladly ask the mods to re-open the thread I did want to make other statements myself and they beat me to it.

Actually, I'm just happy you finally closed the account. (If you actually did.)
I get more enjoyment out of beating the crap outta companies like yours. If I had to choose between breaking your brand, or getting a refund, I'd choose telling the public the truth about you.

Well I am just glad that you finally submitted a cancellation request and the cancellation request confirmation was sent to you as posted in WHT.
That is the end result of when a cancellation request is actually submitted, just for future reference.

It seems there is more and more of this truth lately. The dis-satisfied customers are growing and it seems all this company has to say to them is basically "if you don't like it, leave" or "we have over 17k servers, we're the largest provider in the US..you think we care?"
Personally, I think they should care..because there are competitors that are getting ready to blow them out of the water. So while Rackshack/EV1 is working on the "new DC" or trying to get themselves out of a few things they've gotten themselves into..these other companies are working on bigger and better things and making their "customers" a part of it.
Ah well, such is life eh? Thank God for "The Beach".

I can totally understand why you have this point of view, your not the one being lied about.
All I will say is that rather than me spending time here your right I should be taking care of our true customers of which the ones that can use our services and can follow the proper channels to get something they need done.
We never asked anyone to do something out of the ordinary to get what he needed taken care of, we did it when he asked.
I will be the first to call someone out if they are totally stating anything but the truth, this is all business some may agree some may not in the end the truth will stand.
Hope this has been a learning experience to all of us. I have certainly learned from this experience again I am proven wrong by stating the customer is always right ........

RackShack, EV1, or whatever name they choose to go by, treats their customers like crap.
That phone call, your annoying and persistent references to local telephone service - they are all a sign of the times at RS.
How many people have I referred to ServerBeach? Some days, it's as many as 4 per day.
Yet you chose to piss me off. You chose to keep my money. You know what I can do to you people? There are some people who get pissed at RS, and don't have the exposure to do anything about it. I have tens of thousands of pages on the Internet. I get tens of thousands of unique vistors across all my sites each day. We aren't hurting for exposure.
That's just stupid marketing. Pissing off your customers. It boils down to the old saying...

You are stating that in the wrong place. This forum is made up largely of people who use Quality-Web-Hosting.net.
They know and were aware of this from before. It didn't start today.

That new server is on hold. It was actually our old server. I checked the credit card, and I've been paying for the old server this whole time - evidently RackShack doesn't like to cancel accounts. They just ignored the account cancellation and continued to bill the credit card. When I discovered this, I thought - hey, we can just use that server since I'm paying for it anyway.
But I did request they credit the account to the tune that they over-charged me, and they are giving me BS. So, if they aren't going to decent about it, I'll just tell the credit card company to back-charge them, and we can get a server elsewhere.
|
See, we got history here. You can come in here and lie you arse off, but we do archive the posts.
You stole the money. Admit it. You stole the money. Just say it. You'll feel better.

As stated during our conversation many times, my choice had nothing to do with the matter decisions made were all based on facts which still remains to be:
"show me where you cancelled your account prior to 09/10/03"
Thank you,

That would be on your server, not mine. I have no proof. But, as I said elsewhere, neither do I have proof that I ate breakfast, but I did.
You know we requested cancellation. You know there were no hits to the server. You know there was no data on the server. But you continued to bill the cc.
Very decent of you. NOT!

I posted logs of all activity on the account, nothing withheld no reason to.
Again fact still remains:
"show me where you cancelled your account prior to 09/10/03" and I will gladly issue a refund for anything after that date.
I am not one to give you advice however my advice to you for future reference is make sure that you get a confirmation number for everything you cancel in the event you run into something in the future.
The logs may show that you did not log into the members section however if your asking for us to refund you for the server because you did not use it? Does that seem fair? To refund you for something that I could have had another customer on....
Again I hope this has been as much as lesson to you as it has been for me...I hope you can detach yourself from this personally as it feels that your taking this more personal than need be.

Seriously, as the user of a product it is your responsibility to cancel the service when you have no more need.
When ev1servers cancels an account, a confirmation is sent. Please disclose this confirmation, if what you say is true.
