Benefits of Using a Virtual Private Server or dedicated

hi,

I have a website that has a 2500 - 5000 visitors daily and I know It is very important to choose a proper web hosting plan ...

My problem is when at the same time come large number of visitors online, then my wordpress site is slow ...

I used shared hosting, but it is now time to move on ... My next step is vps or dedicated server.

Please recommendations and explanation of benefits....

I have my blog on Cloudways (digital ocean) and been a client since Nov. 2015 (managed wordpress hosting)

https://www.cloudways.com/en/

There are packages for all sizes for blogs. Plus you can easily upgrade your account without staff doing it. You have more control over the server as well. They have I believe a 14 day free trial and as of today, 1 free migration with any new account for a special. I wrote blog posts about them on my blog with screenshots of my dashboard panel.

I can vouch for there live support feature. I have used them a few times and the staff goes out of there way to help you.

When I bought a SSL from Godaddy and wanted to set it up on Cloudflare and there instructions confused me, I got step by step instructions in live chat and got the SSL working plus they did the redirect for me when I asked to redirect all URL's to https://

With an account you can add people to your account and give them certain access. I used this when I hired a designer and she wanted access to my account incase she needed to do certain things. I gave her limited access which protected my account.

If you hire a technical team, this feature comes in handy.

For a user base of 2500 - 5000/ Day Shared Hosting should do the trick. A VPS would definitely help you be future proof but to handle a VPS you need some level of expertise, A Managed VPS should do the trick for you.

A dedicated Server is definitely over kill at this point of time. If you can give some idea about your budget then we can suggest you accordingly.
