Web Users Directory

I'm on a VPS and I've setup a client and within the client I have the domain setup with a main user. The main user accesses this directory via FTP:

/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/

Now, when I add a new Web User, their FTP access is automatically added to:

/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/web_users/user_name_here

What I'd like to do is change the directory path so that when I create a new Web User, it adds the directory under:

/var/www/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/user_name_here

How can I do that?

I think your web hosting provider will be the best in handling this issue. You should call their support once.

Which CP are you using? It looks like Plesk?

Are you the server owner or are you purchasing space?

Are you wanting the end user to get to their files like http://www.domain.com/user_name_here?

If you are using plesk, I think it would be like this http://www.domain.com/~user_name_here.

Its been years since I messed with plesk, but you might be able to symlink the directories if you have shell access.
