Moving Servers - Need Help!
Hi I'm currently in the process of moving my website from GoDaddy shared hosting to a Media Temple dedicated virtual server. The site runs on wordpress and I'm wanting to move it without losing anything. The site will still use the same domain.
Is it possible to setup everything on the mediatemple server while still having the godaddy one run and then just close the godaddy one when everything on the new one is good to go? I'm having a hard time with this and would be really grateful if somebody could walk me through it. I've heard it isn't that hard but I can't figure it out.
