$75 Design Contest - Web Header/Banner

Hello,

I'm frustrated and tired of trying to manipulate images with GIMP. I need to work on my website setting up products!

So...game on!

Colors: white background - Black Font - Red Carpet or Ribbon (I bought a vector set if anyone wants to use the one I like in the design. I will attach it)

Name on Header: L.A. Minerals
Slogan on Header: Red Carpet Ready

I like the floral abstract type of look, and was hoping to use a font I found online, Beyond Sky, but the creator just won't get back to me about a license. Maybe he died...I dunno.

I also have this vector set I bought, hoping to incorporate into the design.

I really like this set.

Of course if you have something better...get creative!

Our product line is pretty much based on L.A., Hollywood, Valley Girl, NoHo, etc... and our jars have an abstract floral design element.

Size: 700 px wide x 190 px high max

I checked your site and the image used in the header is 1000x300 and the space allotted for the header in code is 900x150. Are you sure you want to go with 700x190?

I'm re-building my site. Max area is actually 800wide. No limit for height, but I'd like to keep it to about 200.

Are you using a pre-built template or scratch building? Any chance of seeing a screenshot? If so, it would help in the process to see the page the header will be on.

It's a template. Here's a link to the new site in progress: I did the current Logo/banner, but not real excited about it! LoL

Note: webhost said I could have width max 1000, but I think thats a bit much for an image/logo. If design element needs up to 300 high to look good, then submit it that way and I'll see how it plays in the template.

I like the gradient, and the design on the left of the banner. Logo and ribbon placement seems off.

I think the only thing I'd change in your design is to remove the top floral graphic.
A little too busy with all of it.
