This is interesting.

I actually entered the contest in the very beginning (the blue "I believe" entry) and was totally shocked when 1) the contest got extended (which I would have won if the original deadline would have ended on Dec 31st) and 2) there was some foul play at some point. If you recall the website had posted a message about on how to stop a thief and prevent vote rigging.

I also noticed that some of the entries pages were moved and/or renamed which actually hurt some individuals because if they linked the page to various websites then the links would link to a different design. This was such a mess!

I will admit, my design wasn't some of my best work and that's probably because I only spent a few minutes on it. However, this type of contest is ALL ABOUT popularity and not which is the BEST design. Which is basically Tanya's comment to begin with.

And what imaginemn say, I totally agree with him. The first deadline was supposed to end the 31st december and he was winning. So this proove that I didn't rigged my vote, otherwise, I would have win either in December...

but, as I said in one of my post (before Tanya's opinion), This contest was all about becoming a popular Christian Website, not having a really good t-shirt design etc.. Personnaly, I got people from my family and friends that will buy t-shirt on this website because we like them. But they wouldn't have bought if they didn't knew this website. This contest put www.soilandseeds.com on the christian shop map, and this is the main point of doing this kind of contest. Otherwise, they wouldn't make people vote, they would have took the best.

i gave my opinion and ill give it again
the designs were crap, not worth $5, 3year olds finger painting on toilet paper could sell their art for more than what those 2 winning tshirt designs would ever be worth.

I'd just like to state that I would like my design removed from the site. And you should know that you do not have my permission to use my design on your shirts.

The winning logo or design example is taken down before anyone really has a chance to view them. I think winning designs should be left up indefinitely. Losers, hell they pay for the space that is serving their designs. Maybe a time limit for leaving up winning designs, or hosting here.

Okay, in skimming through this thread - I haven't been following it - I decided that no good can come from continuing this discussion.

Things happened. People disagreed. All points on both sides were made clear. And the thread is closed.
