Look Beyond Your Focus

Photography Tip of the Day!

Sometimes when out takings pictures, we get so caught up on the scene directly in front of us, that we forget to look beyond our focus and end up missing some incredible shots. Take a close look at this shot. Look across the river (on the right side of the image) and see the view I missed.

I sure did!

There is more than one reason to be aware of what is going on in the background. Take a peek at the antlers (horns?) that I gave my grandson in this photo. Mercy, I definitely was not paying attention when I was shooting this weekend.

Smile

The deer is peacefully grazing with no signs of wanting to run. I would have missed anyways cause my zoom isn't so powerful but will try to not be obsessed with focus.
