New Digital Camera
I just got a HP Photosmart R707 Digital Cam int eh mail. This thing is awsome, it has a docking station that allows you to hook directly to your TV. Also, the docking station doubles as a battery recharging station. It is 5.1 Megapixels, and has a 24X zoom.
Here are some pictures:

Stylish isn't it.
Its a tiny little thing:

I just found a really kewl function it has. It has a pana mode, which saves the right side of the last image in transparent ont he little screen, so you can line up the next image with the last one. It is kewl, this is one I just did quickly.

Panoramic stuff is kinda fun - I've never been too happy with the in-camera capability, but Photoshop to the rescue - just be sure you force set the speed/aperature before you shoot the shots and move fairly quickly in case the light changes - my Longs Peak Panorama what shot with the Canon G5

Hey, I'd be interested in posting those reviews if you want links, I could exchange some of the reviews for links, if you're interested (for my photography forum) - you should post up your photographs @ the forum, ATLien.

What's the optical zoom? Digital zoom really isn't worth anything. You get better quality using photoshop for that.

Optical zoom for this camera is 3X.
The 8x digital is really little to be so happy about. Most software packages can give you that. I envy the 5.1MP though.
But I think there are some adapter lens accessories to make this camera give you 6x optical

One of the unique things about this camera is that it has a built in help menu. I've never seen that on any other digital camera. Nice deal that you got it for free!
