Noise (graininess) is one of the biggest problems in digital photography and most photo editing applications don’t do a very good job at removing it.
Neat Image seems to be the exception to the rule. It’s not a photo editing website but software that needs to be downloaded (just 2.04 MB). They claim to be “The best digital noise reduction software currently available” and several reviews I’ve read on Neat Image state the same thing. If results are
this good, I’m inclined to agree!
I’ve downloaded Neat Image but I haven’t used it as yet. I’ll let you guys know how it works.
EDIT: Super! It worked
really well on a photo I just tested it on. I thought I would've had to spend hours learning how to use it by reading the user guide or checking the help first but it was quite easy to figure out what to do without reading
anything. Sweet! All software should be like this.
